As a National Historic Landmark District, the western ambiance of Telluride has been revived and restored to the days when Butch Cassidy, miners, railroaders and ladies-of-the-night lived their lives. Lured here by its unwavering beauty and off-the-beaten-track personality and location, Jeff and myself turned an intended two-year "ski instructor" stint into our longterm home of 15 years now.
